Who we are

The site is published at https://toilettowerdefense.org. The editor can be reached at [email protected]. We do not run accounts, and we never ask for a password.

What loads, and when

Measurement and ads load on the first page view. The consent banner is a notice with an undo button, not a gate: if you have never chosen, ads and session replay load by default and the banner remains visible; no stored choice is created until you choose. Reject stops Adsterra, Clarity and Google Analytics by reloading the page, and remembers that choice for 180 days. Pressing Accept keeps ads on and also remembers it for 180 days. The footer link Cookie settings opens the banner again at any time.

Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC), measurement ID G-F89WWN23S1, loaded by default from www.googletagmanager.com, with measurement requests to www.google-analytics.com. It counts visits and page views and reports them to Google Analytics. Reject stops loading it.
Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation), project z8w6k2tkyj, loaded by default from www.clarity.ms and scripts.clarity.ms, with collection requests to regional hosts under *.clarity.ms; its service may also contact c.bing.com. Reject stops loading it. It processes session replay and heatmap data so we can see which guide sections are hard to use. Its own masking and privacy controls determine what is recorded.
Adsterra (Adsterra Network), publisher 3403020, website 6177731. Two units load by default and stop after Reject: Native Banner 32108691 inside the page, and Social Bar 32108692 as a third-party social bar. Both come from bicea.org. Adult ads are switched off in the Adsterra dashboard.
YouTube (Google LLC). A video player is created only when you press a video button on a guide page; at that moment the embed request goes to youtube-nocookie.com and may request media from googlevideo.com and ytimg.com. The player is not part of the first HTML.
First-party pages, styles, images, and the two small scripts /consent.js and /third-party.js from this domain.

We do not load Google AdSense, Popunder, Banner, or Smartlink ads, and we do not run a comment box or a newsletter.

We do not control the names or lifetimes Adsterra sets on its own domains; they can change without notice. The values above are what this site writes itself, plus the documented GA4 and Clarity cookies.

Why we are allowed to do this

This build starts Google measurement and the listed advertising and replay services on the first visit. An initial visit is not recorded as express consent. Accept or Reject stores your choice for 180 days. Reject stops advertising, replay and measurement scripts. Serving the pages you requested requires delivery of the page itself. Privacy and advertising rights vary by location; contact the editor about data processing requests.

If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, or Do Not Track is on, the site stores Reject without waiting for a click and does not load the ad, replay or measurement tags.

Personalized advertising and opt-outs

Adsterra and its demand partners may use cookies or device identifiers to choose and cap ads. You can turn personalized advertising off without leaving this site by pressing Reject, and you can also use the industry controls:

How long data is kept

The connected GA4 and Clarity account retention settings have not been independently verified for this policy, so no account-specific duration is stated. Adsterra keeps impression and click records under its own schedule. The consent record lives on your device for 180 days and is deleted when it expires or when you clear site data; the floating-bar close flag stays until you clear site data.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold, ask for a copy, ask for correction or deletion, or object to processing by emailing [email protected]. The consent record is on your device, not in an account, so clearing site data deletes it. You can complain to your local data-protection authority. We do not sell personal data, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
